We’ve talked about PNI, and the power we have within us for healing-designed by God, to naturally “self medicate,” with prayer as the activator. I take this “medicine” daily, throughout the day- it’s available whenever needed.
Praise God- My husband has actually started to use your “Opioid and Alcohol Addtctions Workbook” He was resistant for a long time, because, alcohol was his habitual way to treat anger, anxiety, pain, and depression, making our marriage very shakey- I set a boundary- it didn’t happen overnight, but, I see some progress. I’m inspired and encouraged to spend more time in prayer and to start incorporating exercise back into my daily routine. I even shared this article with my sister who is suffering from crippling depression…she seemed open to the information despite not practicing any sort of religion. I hope this will get her to think about prayer as a way to combat this depression naturally, and that she will realize that there is a God who loves her immensely.
